Dylan and I spent almost every free minute I had together after that night. Dad’s busy with business things and the uncles have been doing God knows what all day, every day. So really, Carter and I have spent the last week of our trip by ourselves. Dad actually decided we’re going to stay in Toronto for the rest of the month and the first half of next month, giving me more time with Dylan.  Taylor went to visit some college friends back in Nova Scotia and had offered to take us with her, since Grandma and Grandpa were there but we decided to stay in Toronto. Carter and Kirby were together just as much, but they mainly just made out and cuddled.
As the 4 of us pile into Kirby’s car to go get ice cream late one Friday night, Carter and Kirby in the front seat, and Dylan and I in the backseat, Dylan won’t let go of my hand.
“Dill Pickle, I’m not going anywhere. You can let go.” I say, patting his knee as Kirby starts the car. Dill Pickle is the nickname I started calling him the other day and have now decided it’s his new nickname.
“Nope, I like it better this way.” He says, tugging me across the seat so I’m closer to him. As we start to drive, Carter starts to play music, gracing us with her awesome DJ skills.
“This is shitty music.” Kirby says, looking over at Carter. Her brow furrows.
“If you want what we talked about later, you’ll shut up and deal with my shitty music.” She says, leaning towards him. He smirks and leans over to steal a kiss. I attempt to keep my eyes from rolling and look over at Dylan who is paying no attention to anything going on in the car.
“What even is this?” Kirby asks, his hand slipping over between Carter’s thighs. Their relationship is much more physical than Dylan and mine is. And honestly, I’m okay with that. I like taking things slow with Dylan.
“This is the wonderful, amazing, talented band One Direction who happens to be the loves of Ava and I’s lives.” Carter says, looking back at me with a smile. I nod and Dylan suddenly rejoins the conversation.
“I know this song!” He says, tapping on my hand with his thumb. I laugh and lean my head on his shoulder.
“I have loved you since we were 18…” He sings terribly. I laugh as he looks up at me. And as he looks up at me, my heart flutters. The words he just sang register in my mind.
“Oh wow.” I mutter, shifting away from Dylan.
“What? What’s wrong?” He asks, sitting up and looking over at me.
“N-Nothing. No I’m okay.” I say as Kirby pulls the car into a parking spot at the ice cream place. Carter glances back, checking to see that I’m okay and I nod quickly, keeping my hand clutched in Dylan’s.
“What ice cream are you gonna get? I think I might get…” Dylan says, his voice trailing off. Carter and Kirby walk inside but Dylan pulls me to a stop.
“Hey, Avs. You okay?” He asks, wrapping his arms around my waist and looking at me.
“Yeah, yeah I’m fine.” He raises an eyebrow and looks down at me.
“You’re freaking over something, I can tell.” I shake my head, attempting to step back away from him.
“Ava, come on. Tell me.” Dylan asks, his eyes begging.
“You said that you love me. Earlier. In the song? I-I didn’t think we were there yet. I mean, we aren’t even together yet!” I say, finally bursting. Dylan steps back, a confused look on his face.
“Wait, Ava, you’re freaking out over that?” He says, looking down at me.
“I know it’s stupid and that I shouldn’t be freaking out but I am!” I say, throwing my hands up in the air. He pulls them down, trapping my fingers between his.
“Ava, Ava! It’s okay! You want to know how I feel? What’s happened between us over the last month? I never thought I’d fall this hard for someone, especially someone who just appeared in my life. You’re...You’re the most important thing to me and I love being around you. You’re beautiful and funny, sometimes.” He says, looking down and smirking at me. I roll my eyes and he starts to talk again.
“I guess what I’m saying is, I want you to be my girlfriend. But I need to be honest. What I’m saying is, I don’t not love you.” My heart falls, just for a second, but then I realize what he just said.
“You jerk! I love you too.” I say, swatting his shoulder as he pulls me in and hugs me to his chest.
“Now that you know that, can we please go get ice cream?” He asks before he presses his lips to my cheek. I nod and we walk into the ice cream parlor. Kirby and Carter and huddled in a corner booth, both eating their ice cream. Carter rushes over to me as I tell Dylan that I want a vanilla milkshake.
“You two took forever. Did you get lost?” She asks, nudging me as Dylan orders for the two of us. Carter and I head back towards the table Kirby is sitting at. As we reach him, he stands up and plants a kiss on Carter’s lips.
“Mmm, you taste like chocolate.” She says. I turn to look back at Dylan who is now licking his ice cream and hands me my milkshake.
“Can we go to that park out by the pond?” I ask, looking over at Dylan next to me. He looks over at Kirby who nods.
“I call the car!” Kirby says, nudging Dylan as we walk out to the car. Carter looks over at me with an evil grin on her face. I roll my eyes and sling my arm over her shoulders.
“Be responsible kids!” I say as we climb in the car. Kirby laughs and shakes his head.
We’re all pretty quiet on the drive over to the park, finishing our ice cream. The only noise is the radio playing quietly and the noises from my straw. We pull into the parking lot of the park, which the sign says closes at dark but there’s no one around to stop us from going in. Dylan leads me out of the car and we settle on the ground next to some trees.
“You know you get the most boring ice cream in the entire world, right?” Dylan says, nudging me as I curl into his chest.
“Mhm. What did you end up getting?” I ask, looking at him as he eats the last bite of his cone.
“It was some Hawiian island thing. Pretty good but not the best thing I’ve had.” He says, smiling down at me as I glanced up at him. His eyes find mine and then flick down to my lips. I climb onto his lap and wrap my arms around his neck.
“You’re pretty.” He says as his lips brush against mine.
“You’re a cutie.” I say as his lips finally hit mine. It takes my breath away in a second. It’s everything I wished it would be and more. He knows exactly what to do and it makes my mind race. But the longer it goes on, the harder it gets for me to breath.
“Hold on hold on.” I gasp, pulling away from Dylan.
“I-I can’t breath.” I choke out. He looks at me, concerned. As I gasp, his face goes from concerned to terrified.
“Carter!” He yells, looking between me and the car. Somehow she hears him and gets out of the car. As I sit there, struggling to breath and choking every breath out, Carter starts to yell in spanish at Dylan, something she does when she’s stressed or angry.
“¿Qué sucedió? ¿Qué le hiciste a ella?” She yells, running towards us. Kirby gets out behind her, his hair messed up.
“I don’t know what you’re saying. Don’t yell at me!” He yells back.
“¡Idiota, llama a su papá o al 911 o algo así!” She yells again. Kirby finally steps up and is the voice of reason.
“Either call her dad or call 911! Don’t just stand there!” Dylan finally snaps out of shock and grabs my phone. Dad and all my uncles’ numbers are in my emergency contacts. So all he has to do is slide the lock screen and press Dad’s name.
“It’s ringing! Oh God.” He says, holding his hand up and showing everyone how much he’s shaking.
“Hi, um I’m your daughter’s boyfriend, Dylan. Um we’re taking her to the hospital. Because I think she’s having an allergic reaction.” He says, running his hand through his hair. He glances between me and Carter, a terrified look on his face.
“Yes Sir. Yes Sir. I’ll have Carter text you what hospital. Okay, bye.” He sticks my phone in his pocket then helps me to my feet as I fight for every breath. The next 45 minutes are a complete blur. Kirby rushes us to the hospital where Dad and all the uncles are all waiting. I get rushed into the emergency room and everyone else has to wait in the waiting room. It turns out I was having a severe allergic reaction to coconut, which happened to be in the ice cream Dylan had. When he kissed me, it triggered the allergy. Somehow, in the last 18 years, I managed to avoid coconut. But the doctors decided to keep me at the hospital overnight since I was still struggling to breath a little. They were also worried that I might have another reaction. Dad and everyone was allowed in to see me after the doctor decided I was somewhat stable for the night. Everyone else tells me how happy they are that I’m okay and everything. Dylan gets a few minutes alone with me and presses a kiss to my forehead.
“Avs, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know. I’ll make it up to you.” He says, his eyes sad. I smile and pat his hand.
“I wanna kiss you but I messed that up last time. So we’ll try that again another time. But I can hug you.” He pulls me into his chest and I sigh.
“Hey, Baby, don’t worry about it. It wasn’t your fault. I didn’t even know either so it wasn’t your fault.” I say as Dad walks back in. Dylan looks up and nods.
“Ava needs to get some rest now. Dylan, Kirby and Carter are heading back home. You might want to go with them.” He says, crossing his arms. Dad walks back out of the room, leaving Dylan and I alone to say goodbye.
“He’s mad.” I say, sighing.
“It’s because of me, isn’t it? I’m sorry Avs.” I shake my head.
“Nope, this is because of me. I decided not to tell him. Don’t worry about it, Dill Pickle.” I say, smiling. He kisses my forehead again and says goodbye.
I somehow manage to sleep a little that night but wake up in a terrible mood. The food at the hospital sucks and the only sustainable thing I’ve eaten in the last 24 hours was the milkshake last night.
Dad still isn’t speaking to me. Which I understand why he’s upset. I mean, I did almost die less than 24 hours ago. But the reason why he isn’t talking to me is because of Dylan, not because I almost died.
“I can’t believe you went behind your dad’s back! What were you thinking, Little Crosby?” Kris asks, sitting on the side of the hospital bed I’ve spent the night in.
“Okay, calm down. This wasn’t entirely her fault. Yeah it was dumb to sneak out of trhe hotel with a boy none of us knew but she didn’t know she was allergic to coconut. But you definitely should not have been kissing that boy.” Marc says, looking down at me with a glare. Carter sits in the corner, on her phone and silent. My family is scattered around the room, with Dad standing in the doorway of the room. The doctor said I should be able to go home tonight. Dad decided we were just going to spend the rest of the month up in Toronto, after my “little stunt” last night. Dad also has my phone, meaning that if Dylan has texted or called, I didn’t know.
“What were you thinking?” Dad finally asks, taking a few steps towards the bed. Suddenly everyone clears out of the room.
“I was thinking that the boy I like wanted to spend time with me. And I wanted to spend time with him. But you wouldn’t like that so I went behind your back.” Dad scoffs.
“Ava, you have to talk to me about things! We’ve never had problems like this before. I thought we were closer than this.” Dad says, sitting down on the bed next to me.
“Dad, I wanted to! I tried to! But you were convinced that the only guys I needed were you, my uncles and Grandpa. You basically told me that having a boyfriend was out of the question! What was I supposed to do?” His hand rests on my knee, and he looks at me hard.
“Honey, I just want to protect you.” He says, stroking my knee.
“You’ve never been like this. You’ve always let me figure things out on my own. You’ve let me do it on my own because I was smart and could handle it. But now all of the sudden, you’ve decided to get protective?” I ask, crossing my arms and pulling my knees up into my chest.
“My little girl is growing up before my eyes. You’re not gonna need me anymore and it’s hard to let go of you. All I can think about is how it used to just be me and you. Remember all the things we did during the first few seasons in Pittsburgh?” I swallow, watching Dad, whose eyes are starting to tear up. My mind wanders to one of the few memories I have from those first few years.
I was 4 when Dad played his first season in the NHL. He moved the two of us into an apartment in downtown Pittsburgh right at the beginning of training camp. I don’t remember much from the first few seasons. But one story Dad tends to avoid, is the one that sticks out in my memory the most. If it ever gets brought up, I always pretend I don’t remember it because it’s a hard topic for Dad.
Right before his first road trip, one where my grandparents would be keeping me for the week, he took me out for a daddy-daughter day. We got pizza for lunch, played at the park, visited the arena that would become Dad and my second home, bought me my first Penguins jersey with Crosby spelled out proudly across the back, had ice cream twice, and just got to spend time together. But then she showed up. For the first time in 4 years, my mom walked back into our life.
“Sid! Sidney Crosby!” She called across the restaurant. Dad looked up, his eyes confused and stormy.
“What are you doing here, Jenna?” He asked, standing up and crossing his arms. I sat there, happily eating my cheese pizza. I was completely oblivious to what was going on above me.
“I wanted to see you! And my little girl!” She said, rushing to him and hugging him. He stiffens and pushes her away.
“You haven’t wanted anything to do with us for the past 4 years. Why now all of the sudden?” He asked, staring her down.
“I decided I want to be in my little girl’s life. Things are getting busy for you now, Sid. You won’t have time to take care of Ava the way she needs. I can.” He scoffs.
“Besides, she’s my little girl. I know how to raise her. You don’t want her weighing you down now that you’re going to be a big NHL star.” Dad puts his hand up, forcing her to stop speaking. He looks down at me, at the pizza sauce covering my face and the front of my shirt. But the thing that stops him is the huge smile I have covering my face when I look up and see him.
“Hi Daddy. Love you.” I say, blowing him a kiss. His glare softens and he looks back up at my mom.
“You’re not taking her, Jenna. You haven’t been in her life for 4 years. I’ve raised her by myself for 4 years because you decided you didn’t want to be a mom anymore. Why would things change now? You don’t get to decide when you want to be a mother and when you don’t.” Mom reels back, baffled.
“You’re trying to tell me whether or not I can be a mother? To my own daughter? You’ve gotta be kidding me, Sid!” And as she starts to cause a scene, Dad seems to grow 10 feet and stares her down.
“No Jenna. You don’t get to do this to us again. You’ll just walk out on her again and I’m not putting my little girl through that. Get out. You’re not allowed to see her.” Of course, Mom threw a fit, claiming she was going to take him to court for custody. She had to be escorted out by security. Dad’s PR team did a really good job with everything, keeping the court case under wraps and making sure nothing got out about Mom’s fit at the restaurant. That was pretty much the start of Dad hiding me away from the world until I was old enough to understand his world that he lived in. Dad obviously ended up winning custody, considering the fact that he had raised me since I was born, with no help from my mom. I spent a lot of time in Minnesota with my grandparents during Dad’s first season. He wanted me with him but he didn’t want me to see everything going on with my mom. But in the end, that was what was best for Dad and I. During my times in Minnesota was when he got close with the men who I now call my uncles. Once I was a little older, Dad sat me down and explained everything to me. He explained why Mom wasn’t in the picture at all, how my uncles came to be my uncles and the fact that during that first season, he considered just signing custody over to Grandma and Grandpa. He had convinced himself that he couldn’t give me what I needed, just like Mom had said. He told me how Geno, Kris and Marc had sat him down and talked him out of it, reminding me how much he loved me and the fact that every goal, every assist; every little thing he did on the ice was because of a little girl almost a thousand miles in Minnesota. And to this day, he reminds me that he’s never regretted the decision to keep his little girl with him.
Ever since then, Dad made sure I knew that he loved me more than anything else and would give up the world and everything else for me. He made sure that I was surrounded by people who would love me and take care of me, the same way he would. Everything Dad has done since I was little, he’s made sure it’s been the best option for both of us. Nothing was ever about him.
But then one day I asked him why he and Mom never worked out. He got this faraway look in his eyes and I almost wondered if he would actually start talking.
“Honey, your mom and I weren’t meant to be together in the future. She was the type of girl that everyone warns you about. The one that’ll break your heart, no matter what. I was away from my parents for the first time and we were stupid. We were young. Too young to be as reckless as we were. But I was convinced I loved her. Do I regret what happened? No because you know why? It gave me you and you are the light of my life, Sweet girl.” Dad said, suddenly coming back to reality and looking down at me.
“Daddy, I’m always going to need you. You’re my dad. I couldn’t imagine my life without you. But this is something that was bound to happen. Daddy, Dylan won’t hurt me. He cares about me. He didn’t mean for what happened last night to happen. I want you to meet him, Dad.” Dad’s eyes are still shining.
“Dad, I’ve actually found someone I really like. He’s kind, smart, sweet, genuine; everything you would want me to have in a guy. He’s got the worst sense of humor, just like you. He takes care of me, I mean he did get me to the hospital. But Daddy, you’ll always be the first man that really loved me. And nothing will ever change that. You held me so tight, now it’s someone else’s turn. ” He smiles, his features soft and a few tears slipping out.
“Baby, you know you’ll always be my little girl.” He says, hugging me to his chest. I wrap my arms around him and take a deep breath of his smell. He smells familiar; like my childhood.
“Hey Ava? There’s someone here to see you…” Carter says, walking in and knocking on the door frame. A few feet behind her, Dylan stands with a bouquet of flowers.
“Hey Avs…” He says, his voice trailing off as he makes eye contact with Dad. Dad stands up and crosses his arms.
“Dad, meet Dylan Cozens. Dill Pickle, this is my dad, Sidney Crosby.” Dylan reaches his hand out and Dad shakes it.
“Nice to meet you sir.” Dad nods, his face straight. Slowly, everyone starts to trickle back into the room. I glance towards the door and see Carter and Kirby in the hallway, obviously discussing something. He leans down and catches her chin in his hand and pulls her in for a kiss. Dad and the uncles have started their interrogation of Dylan, which he seems to be handling very well. He looks over at me and winks, which makes my heart melt. After a few minutes, he manages to get away and settles onto the bed next to me.
“Can I kiss you now?” He whispers in my ear and I turn to look at him with a smile.
“As long as you haven’t eaten any coconut lately.” He laughs and leans in.
“If it means I can’t kiss you, then I’m never eating coconut anything again.” He whispers against my lips. My heart melts and I realise just how hard I’ve fallen for Dylan Cozens. Harder than I’ve ever planned on falling for anyone. He easily has my entire heart.

Hard To Get -- Richie Tozier
Authors Note : I got this idea randomly and just had to write it. Idk if it is even that good but here I go
Warning(s) : smut, seventeen! losers club
Synopsis : As far as anyone knew in school, Y/N was untouchable by anyone. However, Richie Tozier plans to change that.
As far as anyone was concerned, Y/N L/N was off limits.
And it wasn't because you had a boyfriend. Quite the contrary in fact. You just didn’t think that high school guys were worth your time. It wasn't that unbelievable, most of them don’t bathe, expected a call back always, or put too much cologne on to the point where you gagged while passing them in the hallways.
Most people just rolled their eyes and called you picky.
You get what you can get, Y/N.
They’re not that bad once you give them a chance.
You weren't going to budge. Besides you had better things to do anyways in school. It was your senior year so the classes were the hardest you had ever had before, exams were coming up, and you had a social life that you tried to keep throughout all of the homework and studying bullshit. You had convinced yourself that you didn’t have time for a boyfriend, or even a one night stand.
You used to be like that in your junior year of high school, going around parading yourself like a full course meal in front of the boys in your class. It scored you about two hookups, and after both of them happened, you decided to make some major changes to your life. Your mother told you that boys weren't going to get you anywhere, so you rolled with that.
That was until Richie Tozier came along.
~
“I don’t understand it,” Richie Tozier exclaims to Eddie Kaspbrak and Stanley Uris in seventh period study hall. “Holly calls me, tells me that she wants to go on a date, and then the minute she hooks up with me, she's horrible.” He was aware that the people seated around him and his two friends could probably hear their conversation, but it’s not like it mattered anyways. So what if the whole student body knew Holly was a bitch and bad in bed, Richie didn’t care.
Eddie sighed, “You keep believing that all the popular girls are what you need, and then once you’re proven wrong, you keep believing it anyways.”
Maybe he was right. The girls at the school who threw themselves around like confetti were the worst people, and honestly, Richie didn’t want to give them any of his time if he was just going to get more depressed after the interaction.
“Yeah, but almost all the girls are like that at this goddamn school, name one that isn’t,” Richie said.
“Well, there’s Y/N,” Stan said quietly, waving his hand in an ‘I don’t know’ kind of manner.
Richie laughed, full belly laughed to fill the silence in the room. The teacher looked up from her book and gave him a look before shaking her head, putting her hand on her forehead and going back to whatever she was reading. Richie looked at Stan and said, “I don’t think Y/N has been like that since last year with what’s his face.” He was referring to your last hookup, Kevin Graden. The whole school probably remembered the day after you two hooked up and he yelled down the courtyard towards you that he wanted to marry you. It was embarrassing, not even for Kevin, but for you as well.
“So? You just implied that all the girls throw themselves around like candy, but she doesn’t,” Stan was now looking up from his calculus homework and at Richie instead. “What? Do you not think you could get her? Is that it, Tozier?”
Richie bit his lip, thinking of you. You were pretty kind towards him whenever he asked you questions in chemistry class, and you never did get mad at him for his stupid jokes. You were probably the only girl that hasn’t had some kind of a thing with a guy in the past year. Maybe he should go for you.
“No, I know I can get her,” Richie stated, pushing Stanley in the shoulder in a teasing manner. “Just wait and see, Uris.”
The bell rang, and it was now the passing period to get to 8th. Richie’s last class was chemistry, just like yours. He would figure out a way to ask you out on a date and work his way from there.
Once he stepped into class, he saw that you were already sitting in your seat, the one in front of his own towards the back of the classroom. Richie admired how the sun shined just perfectly on your H/C hair, damn, you were actually really cute.
He walked to his desk and sat down, pushing up his glasses by the rim and getting out his notebook from his backpack. You were doing the same, but dropped a pencil that you were reaching for. It rolled backwards on the floor and landed by Richie’s backpack. Before you could reach down and grab it, his hand was already there, grabbing the pencil and sitting up to look at you.
You looked at Richie and smiled, taking the pencil from his hand, saying, “Thanks, Rich.”
“It’s no problem Y/N,” Richie said. You were about to turn back around in your seat, but he interjected and said, “Hey, actually Y/N, I was meaning to talk to you about something.”
“Yeah? What’s up?”
“I was thinking,” He started, looking into your eyes through his glasses. “That maybe you and I could go to the ice cream parlor tonight?”
Your face showed some confusion for a moment, and then displayed shock when you realized that he was trying to ask you on a date.
“Rich, I-”
“Before you say no, just hear me out. Give me a shot, okay? I’m not looking to hook up with you, just a date.”
It was a minute of silence, and then finally, once the teacher started class, you turned around and whispered : yes.
~
And that sealed the deal. You went on the date with Richie and you enjoyed it more than you thought you would. He was funny, and he payed for the double scoop cone that you got. And then afterwards, he walked you home and gained a kiss on the cheek from you once he made sure you were at your home safely.
You hated to admit it, but dating actually wasn't that bad. With Richie it seemed normal, it seemed like you didn't have to try and flaunt yourself around. And he never stepped over the boundaries that you had put in place. Every time he kissed you he made sure that it was right to do so, and when you two really got into it, he wouldn't push it further. It was a little strange that he hadn't tried anything, especially since he himself wasn't the most innocent boy in Derry. You had heard the stories of the numerous hookups he’s had.
It had been two months since that initial date, and you two were now basically an exclusive couple. You hung out with his friends more often than not and you actually really liked them. They were all nice to you, and they were a good crowd, way better than the ones you’ve been in in the past.
That’s where you were heading now, to get to the lunch table that you shared with Richie, Stanley, Eddie, Bill, Ben, and Beverly. You could see it as you walked closer, seeing that Richie was already there with an open seat next to his own for you, and Stanley was there sitting next to Eddie. The other three were probably still in the lunch line.
Richie had his back to you, not seeing you walking closer to the table. As you got closer, you heard his voice, saying, “Yeah. We’re so close.”
Close? Close to what?
You slowed your walking down to stand there to eavesdrop more.
“I’ll be in her pants by the end of the week, I just know it,” Richie said to Stan and Eddie. The two of them looked past him and saw you standing there, your mouth agape, hands beginning to shake under the lunch tray that you held.
Richie stopped talking, giving a confused to Eddie when the smaller boy pointed behind him and at you.
You didn't know whether to scream or cry, but both of them seemed to come out at the same time. Tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to spill out past your eyelashes once Richie turned around to face you. He knew that he had fucked up, he knew that there was no way that he could get out of this. Still, he tried to bargain with you.
“Y/N I-”
You cut him off. “Don’t. Don’t try to make this better Richie, I knew that you just wanted to get with me.”
He shook his head, walking towards you. You backed away, saying, “I didn’t want to fucking believe it, I thought that you were a good guy. But of course you had to get me, right? You heard the stories and you thought to yourself, man, I need to tap that. Well, too bad Tozier. Don’t ever fucking talk to me again.”
Your shaking hands threw your lunch tray towards him, the pasta being served by the lunch lady was now spilled over the hawiian shirt that he wore, splattering onto his glasses. Before he could say anything else to you, you were running outside the building, turning the corner and beginning to cry harder.
You silently cursed yourself for letting this happen. You knew that you should’ve said no to him, that you should’ve listened to your inner voice and continued being single. But you had been so tired of being lonely.
The worst part was, you actually really began to like Richie. But no, he had broken your heart. He didn’t really like me, you thought to yourself.
And for the next two weeks, you didn’t talk to him at all. He never abided by your wishes of him doing the same. He always showed up to try and make up for his actions, tapping your shoulder in chemistry class to try and make you turn around, showing up at your locker after school. Hell, he even showed up at your house once. Each time you would look at him and then pretend like you didn't hear anything that he was saying.
It really hurt to pretend that you wanted nothing to do with him when you so desperately did, but you weren't going to let yourself fall into his trap.
It was Friday night around six, your mom and dad went out on a date night so the house was to yourself. you were sitting in your room finishing up an English essay when your phone rang. You squinted your eyes in confusion, since you had only given out your personal phone number to a few people. One of those people being Richie, who you suspected was calling to try and make up. Half of you told yourself to go to your bathroom and take a shower, giving you more of a reason to avoid him if he called again. But the other half wanted to answer it, so you could finally give Richie a piece of your mind.
The latter ended up winning, so you grabbed your phone and pulled it so that the cord reached to your seat at your desk.
“Hello?” You said, waiting to hear Richie’s I’m so sorry’s and please forgive me’s.
“Hey, Y/N?” Stanley Uris.
“Stan, hey. Sorry I thought that you were Richie,” You said with a tiny laugh.
You heard a laugh on the other end of the line, followed by, “Yeah, I understand that. That’s what I’m actually calling you about.”
“If you’re going to apologize for him, tell him he can shove his apology up his-”
“No,” He interjected. “This is all from me, I swear.”
“Go on then.”
“I was the one who told him that he should go for you. I didn’t think that he was actually going to do it. And even when he did ask you out on a date, I thought that he was only trying to get with you to fuck,” He said. “ But as time went on and you two went on more dates, I could tell that he was really starting to like you a lot. He didn’t mean the things that he said. Hell, he hasn’t shut up about you for the past two weeks.”
“Then why did he say those things?” You asked. That was still the part that didn’t make much sense.
“He’s Richie. He’s stupid,” Stan said. You two both shared a laugh before he started talking again.
“He really likes you Y/N and he’s really sorry. I guess I’m asking you to give him another chance. Richie called me about ten minutes ago and said that he was going to go to your house and try and apologize, but that this was the last time. He’ll leave you alone after this if you want him to. So if you really want nothing to do with him, then you have the chance to tell him once he’s there. Bye Y/N.”
The line disconnected.
You heard the doorbell ring and you knew exactly who it was.
Opening the door once you reached it, you saw Richie standing there, dressed in a black sweater and shorts. His hair was disheveled and he seemed to have been previously deep in thought.
“Before you shut the door on my face, please just hear me out Y/N. If you really don’t want anything to do with me then I’ll leave but-”
“Shut up and kiss me Tozier.”
You leaned forward, clashing your lips against his own and balling your hand on his chest with his sweater in your fist. He kissed you back, pulling you closer to him with his arms wrapping around your waist.
After a few minutes, you pulled away and wasted no time pulling him into your house, closing the door and pulling him into your room. You once again kissed him again, his glasses fogging due to the hot contact. The kiss was a little sloppy, but nonetheless it felt good. You forgot how much you missed him.
“Wait, wait,” Richie pulled away from you, putting his hand on your cheek to make sure you were looking into his eyes. “We don’t have to - I know how you feel about stuff like this and we don’t have to. You don’t have to forgive me this way if you don’t want to.”
You breathed out, your eyes never leaving his as you pulled off your shirt, throwing it behind him. His eyes widened.
“I do want this, I want you, Rich,” You said, almost pleading with him. Your hands pawed at his chest, reaching down at the edges of his sweater, silently asking if you could pull it off.
His arms raised up in an answer, allowing you to pull off his sweater and putting your hands on his toned chest.
He kissed you this time, pushing you to walk backwards until you were falling onto your bed. Your hands moved to push away the blankets and pillows, giving him room to lay down on top of you. His hands went to your sides, rubbing up and down gently, causing you to moan in his mouth. He took that chance to slip his tongue past your teeth, exploring before pulling away and peppering kisses along your jawline.
Your hands went to his hair, pulling on his curly locks with adoration. You watched as he kissed your collarbone, neck, and chest. He didn't leave one spot unkissed, wanting to show you how much he truly felt for you. You were starting to get a bit impatient, wanting to see him in whole and feel him inside of you. You hadn’t had sex in a while and you forgot how good it felt. In addition, you knew that with Richie it was going to different than every other time. He truly cared for you, he wasn't just in it for the fuck.
“Richie, please, I want you now,” You whispered, pulling on his hair once again and watching him get rid of the rest of both your clothing.
He was positioned at your entrance, looking up at you for clarification for the last time to make sure that this was truly okay.
You nodded, hissing a tiny bit when he pushed into you and stretched you out. His hands came up to hold your face, his thumb rubbing your cheeks lovingly. He didn't move, waiting for you to give him the okay. When you whispered a soft go on, he started thrusting in and out at a slower pace, finally getting a good pace.
He thought that you looked beautiful, your hair spread on the bed like a halo as he made love to you. Your skin was glistened with sweat and made you look so gorgeous, it almost took his breath away. You thought that Richie also looked super good above you, his lips pink and flushed, just like his cheeks that he puffed out.
You knew you could never get enough of him.
“Rich,” You moaned out, your fingers pressing into his back. His hand came down and messed with your clit, allowing you to get more and more close to your release. “I think I’m going to-”
“Let it out, darling,” He whispered, kissing you once again.
And you did, your high sneaking up on you and crashing you into a wall of pleasure. His hand helped you ride it out, as well as you started to move your hips with his to help him reach his own.
Richie finally did pulling out quickly, and soon enough both of you were muttering each others names and laid there together, breathing in and out in euphoria.
He got up and grabbed a towel from your laundry basket and wiped everything off of you and in between your legs, then laid down next to you and enveloped you into his arms, not letting go for dear life.
It was silent for another five minutes. Both of you just laying with each other, enjoying the feeling of being close to each other.
“I think I love you,” You muttered to him, turning around and facing him. You kissed the tip of his nose, a smile appearing on your face as he grinned.
“I think I love you too, Y/N.”

@adastrvs sent “Hey, come here. It’s alright.” for spot and regina
Tumblr media
It was rare that Spot went shopping, and even more rare that he played the role of the friend who sat in the chair while his friend tried on outfit after outfit. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy hanging out with Regina, but shopping... It wasn’t his thing. Taking another sip of the iced coffee in his hand as he sat, sprawled out on some high end couch in a high end shop, he looked up as Regina stepped out in yet another dress, this one a subtle pink version of the black she’d just tried on. He had no idea why she needed another dress ( then again, with Regina, it wasn’t like she needed a reason ) but he got free coffee out of it. “ Hey, come here. ” He stood up, turning her around to tuck the tag into the back. “ It’s alright. ” He shrugged, sipping his drink again as he unceremoniously dropped into the couch again, eyes meeting hers in the reflection as he fixed his own bright hawiian shirt. “ I think the black looked better. ”

2. Grub Burger Bar
Stepping into Grub Burger Bar, the modern, high-end interior finishes evoke an urban feel making you think, for a second, you could be in a big city like New York or LA. However, when the folks at grub greet you at the counter with a sincere smile, and kindly explain the menu and make enthusiastic recommendations, you know you’re in Aggieland. Read complete EatBCS.com review.
3. The Village Cafe
Breakfast and lunch at The Village Cafe in Historic Downtown Bryan is an experience in itself: with their made-from-scratch staples, farm fresh ingredients and their emphasis on all things local, they give a little extra love to your daily routine. 5. Madden’s Casual Gourmet
While the menu is simple, the soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees all feel delightfully, creatively complex. I ordered the Grilled meat loaf served on a bed of sautéed cabbage with corn bread and hand made mashed potatoes on the side, topped with a flavorful but not overpowering tomato sauce. Read complete Madden’s review.
6. Fuego Tortilla Grill
Don’t let the crowd scare you off though, the folks at Fuego are very quick, both at the counter and the drive through. You will be tasting fresh cooked Mexican food within a few minutes no matter how busy they look. Continue reading Eat BCS review.

8. Antonio’s Pizza
Antonio’s Pizza By The Slice has been adding flavor to the Northgate scene since 2003. While you CAN get an “normal” 1 or 2 topping pie, Antonio’s stands out for their specialty slices and pies. Click for a few mouth watering examples of recent specialty slices of the day at Antonio’s.
9. Blue Baker

13. The Tacobar
Tacos & tortas any way you want ’em. Everything fresh and flavorful. Great service behind the counter. That’s the simple formula The Tacobar is executing to earn rave reviews for their newly opened Taqueria, specializing in authentic, border-style Mex fare. Reviews like this one on their facebook page, are piling up for this delicious addition to the B/CS restaurant community: “The food is delicious, finally a place with authentic Mexican cuisine! The place and staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had chicharron en salsa roja and rajas con queso and they are both to die for!! Highly recommend it. Aggie owned and operated!”

When a place keeps the menu simple and names the joint after the main menu item (i.e. In-N-Out Hamburgers or Layne’s Chicken Fingers) you know it’s gonna be good.
15. Sweet Eugene’s
The Monterrey Turkey Panini with mesquite turkey, tomatoes, bacon, cheddar cheese and ranch dressing on spicy hawiian bread and chips served on the side makes a tasty light lunch. 18. Caffe Capri 222 N. Main St., Downtown Bryan, TX
Caffe Capri is a beautiful and cozy restaurant in downtown Bryan. The menu has all the classic Italian dishes you could ever want. And if longevity is any indicator, the people of Bryan-College Station want them a lot, so much that they’ve been in business for 21 years this week. The restaurant was founded by Aggie Rami Cerone right after he graduated from Texas A&M University.

21. Top Of The Hill 2444 Lakewood Dr., Bryan, TX
Head to Top Of The Hill in Benchley for one of the finest burgers probably in the history of Texas. They take about 10 minutes each to arrive yet they are made with love obviously and they are almost exactly like what my Mom makes. Fresh buns are toasted in butter, meat is flat grilled where the edges are carmelized, lettuce is fresh and shredded, cheese melted perfect (a Bobby Flay requirement), tomatoes are fresh vine ripened local grown and the jalapenos are in-house pickled. All real food, fresh never frozen beef. Simply a kick ass burger! 10 Minutes from College Station.
22. Blue Moon BBQ
Blue Moon BBQ has been serving the Best BBQ on the OSR since 2007! Come visit Rick, Toni, and Matt Moon weekly Wednesday 11-3 Thur-Sat 11-7 and Sun 11-3 for your BBQ guilt trip! Blue Moon is a Texas Monthly Top 50 ‘cue joint worth the drive out to the middle of nowhere. The middle of nowhere is usually somewhere special when you’re in the beautiful Brazos Valley. Only thing that can make one feel more Texan than a drive down OSR on a crisp, sunny day is the smell of smoked meats wafting your way.
23. Jesse’s Taqueria & Bakery 3310 East 29th St., Bryan, TX • 979-485-9841
Jesse’s Taqueria & Bakery is well known for fresh tacos, lunch plates, Mexican sweet breads, flan, fresh baked cookies, and friendly “know you by name” service.

Ronin Cooking is a catering company headquartered on Don Ganter’s old place in Bryan. It makes great use of the facilities to host monthly dinners and catered events. Much of the food served is grown onsite. The farm’s dinners are open to the public, tickets are sold in advance on the site. They also have farm tour days throughout the year. Ronin Cooking plans to open a restaurant more accessible to the public on a regular basis in 2017 in Downtown Bryan’s Ice House Redevelopment.
25. RX Pizza 200 W. 26th St., Downtown Bryan • 979-721-9158
Recent EatBCS.com Review: “Tried a take out pie from Downtown Bryan’s RX Pizza today and it was great. The crust tasted as if the dough is made from scratch and it reminded me of the two wood fired pizza places in College Station, Napa Flats, West End and the two in Bryan – Amico Nave and Cafe Eccell. This should be a hit in Downtown Bryan which did in fact lack the combination of a well mixed adult beverage and and adult pizza. Easy parking and located in what used to be a drug store for decades. Great prescription for a successful eating & drinking establishment.”
26. Kamei Sushi and Grill 951 William D. Fitch, College Station, TX
Image by Greg “Taco Monster” Deeter.
Kamei Sushi and Grill at 951 William D. Fitch is most certainly one of my favorite restaurants in College Station. The music in here is great, unlike any other place in College Station and all of the food is top notch. Try the new garlic edamame side for sure. Service is also top shelf, prices are great, there’s not a thing less than 5 stars about this place.
27. Mighty Slice Pizza 303 University Drive. 979-846-8806
Get Texas size pizza by the slice at Mighty Slice Pizza on Northgate. 28 inch pies and 14 inch slices. Size does matter and still some of the best pizza in town.
28. Abu Omar Halal Food Truck at Northgate Gig ’em Market
In 2011, Abu Omar (owner and founder of Abu Omar Halal) opened Houston’s first halal food truck. Now they have 10 locations in the Greater Houston Metro, including the Gig ‘Em Mart on Northgate across from TAMU.
29. Good Bull BBQ 326 George Bush Dr., College Station, TX
Former Yell Leader Roy May and crew started Good Bull BBQ because they love barbecue and we want to change the world! Now you can too! They provide a meal for the less fortunate for every meal they sell. Feed yourself, feed the world, now that’s GOOD BULL!
30. 1541 Coffee & Pastries 1808 Brothers Blvd., College Station • 979-703-1878

Frios Gourmet Pops – Aggieland now offers FREE delivery on 10+ pops! We’ll pack and scooter ship them straight to you. 3.50 each. Call or text 979-224-8601 or email [email protected] for flavors and delivery times.

34. Downtown Uncorked Wine Bar 206 W. 26th St., Bryan, TX • 979-823-4837
Downtown Uncorked Wine Bar is a fun and vibrant space, designed as a place to meet for a quick pizza, dessert or glass of wine before dinner. They feature great Old World/New World wines that taste good and aren’t too expensive. Enjoy warm atmosphere complete with couches, outside seating and the bar.
35. La Espiga Dorada 210 W. MLK in Bryan • 979-779-9594
After a night of good times and great music at Revolution on Carnegie Alley in Downtown Bryan, local burger legend Charles Stover introduced me to his favorite local taco stand, El Nopalito on MLK. He also pointed out La Espiga Dorada, the bakery right behind El Nopalito and raved about the breads and sweets. Read more.
36. Amico Nave Ristorante 203 E. Villa Maria, Bryan, TX • 979-703-1953
Amico Nave Ristorante is the sister restaurant to Shipwreck Grill and the name literally means “Friend of the Ship”. Amico was born of a passion for great food in a comfortable atmosphere. Owner Wade Beckman’s stepfather, Tony, is from Sicily and lived in Bryan for most of his life. Tony passed down his grandmother’s sauce recipes to Wade who paired them with modern dishes to give our menu that old world charm, with a modern flair.
37. Azure Fusion Bistro & Saké 3975 State Highway 6 S., College Station, TX • 979-693-7836

Burger House is cozy and interesting inside with what appear to be a good number of regular patrons. For those that do not know this used to be a Shipley’s donuts and was a hot spot in this part of Bryan for many years. A lot of the same people still come here for the burgers. Image by Greg Deeter.
39. Honolulu Poke House 1617 S. Texas Avenue, College Station, TX
Honolulu Poke House serves Traditional Hawaiian Poke Bowls! IT’s like sushi in a bowl without the seaweed wrapping sushi normally has. When mixes well, a Poke Bowl can be a delicious and healthy eating experience. Good folks behind the counter to guide your rice and protein selections, toppings and add-ins, and sauce choices are essential to Poke newbies. Honolulu Poke House has helpful people to guide you and make sure your first poke experience is a delicious one you are compelled, by craving, to repeat again and again.
40. Fat Burger – Bryan 1801 Texas Avenue South, Bryan, TX
Aggie owned and operated, a local tradition. Nothing fancy, just good burgers and creative specialty sandwiches. Off menu items like the Chopped Barbecue Cheddar Fries are the bomb!
